sarawak
In my five years of blogging, I don’t think my posting has ever been this infrequent. Sorry. Just dead dead busy, mainly with top-secret preparations for the new life that will begin at the end of September this year when my current job will finish and I will be leaving Borneo. But while I’m still here, here is an archetypal Borneo image for you to enjoy, taken last month when I visited Bako National Park in Sarawak.
spot the difference . . .
. . . between today’s sunset and yesterday’s sunset.
in memory of the palm trees
Those of you who’ve been following my blog for years will know that I post far too many pictures of sunsets. In Tokyo I seemed to post an office window sunset picture nearly every other day. I couldn’t resist this beautiful sky though, even though as I was talking it I was thinking come on, you don’t need another bloody sunset photo. But then the day after I took this, along came a bulldozer and cleared this patch of land including nearly all the palm trees! So I’m glad I took it now. I’ll post a picture tomorrow to show you what the view looks like now. Bet you can’t wait.
